Hydroelectric Power Capabilities

ASA Analysis & Communications, Inc. can assist you with hydroelectric generation facility permitting and associated natural resource surveys.  Staff members have experience in designing and conducting surveys, preparing Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) licensing documents, and participating in natural resource agency consultation for facilities in a wide diversity of settings.  ASA staff involvement with hydroelectric permitting has encompassed a diversity of responsibilities, including consulting for electric utility companies and representing state resource agencies as an agency staff biologist.  This diversity provides insights into issues and interests from both the applicant’s and the permitting agency’s perspective, thus facilitating the licensing consultation process and negotiations.
